It is really cool that the kids were featured in the New York Times, over a year later after our lemonade stand was shut down and we took a vow to make a difference and get laws changed. We searched all around Denver to get multiple copies. The New York Times Sunday papers are a hot commodity in my town- many locations sold out by 8am on Sunday morning! But we were fortunate enough to find enough copies so the boys can each have one for their scrapbooks and for the family to have a few copies too :-)

When I think about our roller coaster of a ride, it’s pretty amazing that we were able to accomplish so much in such a short period of time. Life certainly takes you on rides that you would never expect- handle them with grace and grit and make a difference along the way!
