It’s almost summer, the weather has warmed up, and my three “Lemonade Boys” want to have some fun, earn some money, find ways to give back, and sell lemonade! But due to covid19 social distancing requirements and common sense rules, a typical lemonade stand is not in the cards for this summer.

So…we got creative!

Introducing the Covid safe, social distanced lemonade stand! Check it out. Ben, the oldest, is behind a plexi-glass cover, standing under an umbrella to protect him. He pours the lemonade into a funnel, and then the customer can get their lemonade straight from the funnel tube! Pretty clever, right? And pretty easy to create.

The boys want to set up this lemonade stand and raise money to help fight Covid. In past years, the boys charged 75 cents, or 2 for $1. But they believe that this year people are feeling the financial crunch, so they are charging 25 cents instead. And we will be creating a GoFundMe, where people can donate to help fight Covid.

This isn’t the summer that any of us thought we could have, but hey, we roll with the punches. Life is full of surprises!
