Jennifer Knowles, Ph.D, shares her own story through her BLOG and CHILDREN’S BOOK, Awesome Adventures of the Lemonade Boys of how she and her family turned lemons into lemonade, took a stand for lemonade, and used her viral opportunity to create positive change in this crazy world. What started as teaching her kids about entrepreneurship and charity in a lemonade stand turned into lessons as to how we can all make a difference, through hard work and being kind and respectful along the way.  Her story has been featured on the front page of The Wall Street Journal, CBS This Morning, Fox and Friends, and CNN HLN. Locally in Denver, 5280 Magazine recognized her as 1 of 15 “Disruptors” who is changing the face of Denver, supporting “Kids Rights.”

In September 2018, we succeeded and Denver City Council passed an ordinance so kids in Denver, CO can now have occasional neighborhood lemonade stands without permits! And on April 1, 2019 Governor Jared Polis signed the bill, “Legalizing Minors Businesses,” that enables kids to legally explore entrepreneurship ventures without bureaucratic barriers. Now Jennifer is working with individuals across the country, supporting kids entrepreneurship. Read the BLOG to follow the story!

Jennifer is an Author, Speaker, Consultant, and Adjunct Faculty at Colorado State University, where she earned her doctorate in Organizational Learning, Performance and Change. She is blessed by her wonderful family and three lively "Lemonade Boys" and hopes to create a positive difference in the lives of others.
